Penobscot Bay Media jobs landing in Rockland

ROCKLAND, Maine — Thanks to a new Federal Aviation Administration contract to train air traffic controllers, Penobscot Bay Media is growing its workforce in Rockland. Also known as PenBay Media, the company will add 23 jobs as it sub-contracts with Science Applications International Corp. to train the FAA personnel.

The project is expected to run for the three years with two one-year extension options as the FAA hires about 6,000 new air traffic controllers to replace retiring controllers. Established in 1999, PenBay Media currently has 23 employees.
