VStv going live in Rockland and beyond

VStv, a new TV station and production studio, will soon be on the air in the Midcoast region. The station, which will broadcast from studios in Rockland, will focus on local Midcoast news and programming, which will be produced in conjunction with three newspapers, the Courier-Gazette in Rockland, Camden’s The Camden Herald and The Repulican Journal in Belfast. VStv ownership also owns and operates the three local newspapers and the station will have satellite studios in the newsrooms of the Courier-Gazette and Republican Journal.

VStv plans to go on the air sometime in the fall and will be available on Time Warner Cable channel 88 in the Knox and Waldo county area. The station will also be available online free through mobile apps and its website, VStv.me.
